Is this the best option & do the games run smoothly? I've read that there is a network adapter which can house a SATA HDD on a fat PS2, which can run the applications needed to launch the games. Are there any good step by step guides starting from scratch? Can I do this without complicated hardware mods? I have never modded a console before so I am just looking for advice on which model is best to get, which applications to install (Free McBoot, HD Loader, other) & which HDD size/types are compatible. I've made a list of games that I am going to download which is well over 100 titles so I am going to need a decent sized HDD. Unfortunately I don't have my old console or game collection anymore so I'll need to buy a new console & download the games. With all of the classic consoles being released recently in mini form, I've gotten the itch to revisit the PS2 after a 13 year absence. First off apologies if this has been asked before, I'm sure it has but I figured this was the best place to ask. ![]()
